Christie’s Wine department presents their final live auction in Hong Kong this year — Finest and Rarest Wines and Spirits: Featuring a Superb Family Collection from North America.
A Superb Family Collection from North America offers wine lovers the opportunity to acquire rare gems from Bordeaux and Burgundy. Highlights include Mouton 1945, Haut Brion 1926 previously purchased from an ex-domaine auction, Petrus 1990 and 2000, Leroy Grands Crus from 2005, and DRC La Tâche 2005 in banded original wooden case. In addition, there are six bottles of the monumental 1974 Heitz Cellar Martha’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which is considered one of the most famous wines ever produced in the history of California.
Burgundy is a highlight, with all of the leading Domaine featured: Dujac, Comte Georges de Vogüé, Hudelot Noellat, Armand Rousseau, Leflaive, Coche-Dury, Raveneau and Jean-Marc Roulot.
The festive season is just around the corner, if you are looking for wines for parties and large gatherings, large formats such as Lafite 1982 and 1986, Margaux 1995 and 1996, Mouton 1982 and 2003 in 6L are available. We also have a superb accessible Burgundy selection from producers such as Coquard Loison Fleurot, Domaine Arlaud, Fourrier and Jacques Prieur, to name a few.
Outside of France, highlights include Egon Muller Scharzhofberger Riesling Eiswein 1977, Screaming Eagle 2015, Henschke Hill of Grace 1990 and Penfolds Grange 1990.
For whisky enthusiasts, we have on offer The Macallan The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Glenfarclas 1965 Family Cask #4502, The Glenlivet 1969 Cellar Collection, and Laphroaig 40 Year Old 1960 Vintage Reserve. Japanese whisky is represented by Karuizawa Vintage Fight Club.
