Christie’s is honoured to present Iconic Wines from Joseph Lau Part IV, which will take place at Christie’s Hong Kong saleroom at The Henderson.
Following the success of Iconic Wines from Joseph Lau Part III earlier this year, Part IV of the auction comprises over 150 lots, with an estimated total value exceeding HK$28 million/US$3.5 million. It offers another precious opportunity for connoisseurs to acquire the finest bottles from the esteemed entrepreneur and distinguished wine collector.
The celebrated collection showcases an extraordinary selection of some of the rarest and most coveted wines from Henri Jayer, including exceptional lots originally acquired from Christie’s 2012 auction, The Private Cellar of Henri Jayer. Highlights include Vosne-Romanée vintages from 1992 and the iconic Cros Parantoux spanning the 1990s through 2001. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is superbly represented, with Romanée-Conti and Montrachet bottles from the 1990s to the 2010s. A rare and limited offering of Domaine d’Auvenay Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet and Chevalier-Montrachet adds further prestige to the sale.
Classic Bordeaux treasures abound, presenting outstanding vintages from the splendid 1982 through the 2000s. First Growth châteaux are offered alongside esteemed Right Bank equivalents, with multiple formats of Lafite available. Other highlights include 1995 Château Mouton Rothschild and 2000s Château Latour. The Right Bank is represented by stellar lots such as Château Cheval Blanc and Le Pin from the 2000s, while Château Pétrus 1990 is available in parcel quantities and different formats, including the rare 6 litre Imperial.
We are proud to present this sale and invite you to join us in celebrating these truly legendary wines.
