This May, Christie's 20/21 Century sales in New York brings together works from the greatest artists of Impressionist and Modern Art and Post-War and Contemporary Art. A Century of Art: The Gerald Fineberg Collection presents a rich and nuanced collection of 20th-century masterpieces in a standalone two-part auction. Historic collections also return this season as Visionary: The Collection of Paul G. Allen takes an in-depth look at art rooted in nature while Masterpieces from the S.I. Newhouse Collection offers 16 groundbreaking works from the media magnate’s 20th-century trove. Depth of Field: The Alan & Dorothy Press Collection and Enduring Threads: The Collection of Jacques and Emy Cohenca round out an exceptional sale series.
