In December, join us for a series of exceptional sales, celebrating Contemporary Art and Design.

The Design sale will kick off the auction series by presenting an exceptional collection of works by Diego Giacometti, crafted for Lady Mercia Harrison, a collector and aesthete fascinated by the artist’s creations in the 1970s. It will also unveil a set of enamelled ceramics by Jacques & Dani Ruelland, assembled by Frédéric Cassin and Cristina Cordula, embodying the perfect balance of formal simplicity and chromatic richness. Works by Pierre Chareau, Jean Prouvé, Maria Pergay, Georges Jouve and François-Xavier Lalanne will round out this selection, inspiring both collectors and design enthusiasts.

The Collection Antoine et Simone Veil will showcase the ensemble gathered by these two remarkable figures of 20th-century history. Married for 67 years and united for eternity in the Panthéon in Paris, their collection captures the defining traits that characterized them: rigor, humanism, and generosity. These values are reflected in creations by Diego Giacometti, works on paper by Simon Hantaï, Geer van Velde, Maria Helena Vieira da Silva and Tom Wesselman, along with paintings by Zao Wou-Ki and Gilles Aillaud.

The sale Vivre la couleur : Hommage à Jean Fournier will highlight the remarkable legacy of this gallerist, who profoundly influenced the history of painting. A defender of modernity, he exhibited the greatest artists of his time for nearly 70 years. The 33 works presented bring together the artists Fournier supported with passion: Simon Hantaï, Sam Francis, Shirley Jaffe, Joan Mitchell, Jean Paul Riopelle, James Bishop and Claude Viallat.

Throughout this auction series, the 20th/21st Century Art online sale will offer a broad panorama of works, from Auguste Rodin to Wang Keping, Matisse to Manoucher Yektai, Tamara de Lempicka to Niki de Saint Phalle, František Kupka, Hans Hartung, Victor Vasarely, Peter Halley and many others. The sale will also present the second chapter of the Danute & Alain Mallart Collection: Brussels-Paris-Vilnius.
