ATTRIBUTED TO GILLOWS OF LANCASTER

The rectangular caned back flanked by scrolled arms centred by a turning flowerhead above upturned palmette leaves and further acanthus leaves, centred by a panelled seat-rail, the seat and back covered by buttoned squab cushions of stylised foliate cotton, on gadrooned and reeded turned feet and brass castors, later front to back under-support, previously with other under-support
