The arched case with ebony line inlay to the front and arched brass fishscale sound frets to the sides, on brass bun feet, the white painted dial with signature Thwaites & Reed Clerkenwell LONDON (faded, probably later), the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, engraved border to the backplate with gate type pendulum holdfast
