The anglaise riche case with Corinthian columns and ripple galleries, the gilt side panels overlaid with floral trellis mounts framing oval ivory panels painted with the portraits of two ladies, with conforming mask to the silvered Roman chapter ring with plain gilt centre, pierced gilt hands, also with ivory portrait oval below, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate numbered 1
