A Meissen (outside-decorated) obelisk group of three putti
one in the guise of Apollo, wearing a puce drape and holding a lyre, the other emblematic of Music and Poetry, one on cloud scrolls playing a trumpet, the other writing in a book, all surrounding a garlanded marbled obelisk on a plinth moulded with a portrait bust, on a rocky mound above a shaped base moulded with ribbons and a band of stiff leaves, blue crossed swords marks, incised 11., Pressnummer 107, circa 1880 (some minor damages) -- 30.5cm. high
