The anglaise style case with trailing stiff leaf mounts to the angles, with silvered openwork frame to the ivorine mask penwork decorated with trophies and figures of amorinos, the silvered chapter ring with individual Arabic circlets and a gilt metal foliate filigree centre mount, blued steel spade and pointer hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate stamped for E. Maurice & Co. and numbered 2841 -- 5in. (14cm.) high
