gouache heightened with gold on paper, one showing Zulaikha and her maidservants, the other showing them fainting at Yusuf's beauty, each with panels of text, each bordered with illuminated headings probably from the same manuscript, mounted, framed and glazed, (some smudging and flaking, small tear to corner of one), Shiraz, 16th century - larger 22 x 15cm.
