Unsigned, Edo Period (19th Century)
Black lacquer ground; decoration in gold, silver, black and red hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with inlaid crystal eyes; compartments red lacquer; shoulders, risers and rims gold lacquer; wood ojime carved with attributes of the Shichifukujin [Seven Gods of Good Fortune]

The front and back decorated with archer's equipment including a quiver with five arrows, a cap decorated with a demon mask, and a bow in a case formed as a fish with a gaping mouth
