Details
1959 KING S-75
Chassis No. T7609
Blue with a tartan seat.
Engine: Fichtel & Sachs, 191cc, two stroke; Gearbox: four speed and reverse; Suspension: direct transverse leaf spring; Brakes: cable to front wheels. Left hand drive.
Fuldamobil launched the S-7 in 1957, this being their first glass fibre bodied car. It achieved only a limited success in Germany but was well received in other countries such as England, Chile, Argentina, Holland and Greece. In each country the Fulda was re-named and built under licence; in Sweden it was called the "King".
The King S-7 on offer here was owned, for many years, by a Swedish microcar collector prior to its purchase by Bruce Weiner. It is described by him as being in fair, unrestored condition which would benefit from cosmetic attention. Basically complete it is an interesting, original example of this rare model.
It is sold with a Swedish title document.
