Two Iron Rowel Prick Spurs
The first mid-14th Century, the second early 14th Century, both probably English
Both in excavated condition, the first with slender downcurved heel-band with ring terminals and low crest, short flat neck, and chrysanthemum-shaped rowel of eight points; the second with slender heel-band, the sides bent at an angle under the ankle bone, and ring terminals, short neck, and small star-shaped rowel of six points
