First half 19th century
One side stained, the other side natural, the kings and queens with tiered discs above baluster stems and serrated crown finials, the knight with glass bead eyes (one missing) and painted mouths
King -- 2¾in. (7cm.); pawn -- 15/8in. (3.6cm.) high
