An 11-inch (28cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial and Greenwich Meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic not shown, the oceans with steamship routes, Zeppelin routes and ocean currents, the continents with nation states variously and delicately shaded and showing rivers, mountains, towns, cities and railway lines (some light scratches and discolouration, minor crack to paper around half of the equatorial), with stamped brass meridian half circle, raised on a simple turned mahogany column and circular base with inset compass with blued-steel needle -- 18¾in. (47.6cm.) high;
a 57/8-inch (15cm.) diameter miniature terrestrial table globe ERD-GLOBUS nach den neuesten u. besten Quellen entworfen. BERLIN Ludw. Jul. Heymann Geograph. Art. Anst. [c.1890], made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial and Greenwich Meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days but unlabelled, the oceans showing ocean currents, the Antarctic with partial and projected coastline, the continents faintly outlined in yellow or pink, and showing rivers, mountains, towns and cities (rubbing and discolouration all over, some small paper loss to Russia), raised on a short iron arm to an ebonised baluster turned column and circular base with inset compass -- 11½in. (29.2cm.) high;
and a 4¾-inch (12cm.) diameter miniature terrestrial table globe Prof. Dr. A. Krause Neuer Schülerglobus Verlag Paul Räth Lehrmittelwerkstätten Leipzig [c.1910] made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial, Greenwich Meridian and equinoctial colure graduated in degrees, the ecliptic not shown, the oceans with steamship routes in red, the Antarctic with mostly projected coastline, the continents with nation states outlined in yellow, orange and green and showing rivers, mountains, towns, cities and the Great Wall of China (some abrasions and discolouration), with stamped brass meridian half circle raised on an ebonised turned column and plinth base -- 12in. (30.5cm.) high
