The dial with silvered chapter ring with outer concentric Roman I-XII and inner ring engraved 13-24, single blued steel hand, foliate engraved centre, the hexagonal movement with four gilt baluster pillars riveted to the backplate signed Wilhülm Köberle in Eichstädt, foliate pierced and engraved footed balance cock now with plain brass three-arm balance with blued hair spring, calibrated small countwheel with central engraved rosette and small pierced blued steel hand, foliate pieced and engraved table to the barrel set-up, the movement with single fusee and chain with pinned end-capped barrel, the gilt strike barrel typically engraved with flower heads and with an elaborate foliate pierced and engraved gate, the hours struck via a blued steel and gilt hammer cut and chased in the form of a mask, the bell housed in the hinged base with six brass ball feet, the sides glazed to each facet within D-ended gilt-metal frames, the dial framed within a foliate engraved moulding
