A PAIR OF DERBY PASTILLE BURNERS AND COVERS AND A PAIR OF SPILL VASES
Circa 1810, iron-red crown, crossed batons and D marks, painter's 38 to the spill vases
Each pastille burner of Warwick vase form, the cover with gilt pinecone finial and pierced rinceau rim, the feet and a further shaped and canted square plinth, painted in iron-red, ochre and blue and enriched in gilt with foliate scrolls; each spill vase of flaring cylindrical form, painted en grisaille and in sharp colors enriched in gilt with foliate scrolls centering urns, the flaring mouth and foot gilt with trailing vine
