A finely engineered exhibition standard 5in. gauge model of the G.N.R. 4-2-2 Stirling Single locomotive and tender No.664
re-furbished by M. Frost, with copper firetube boiler with a full set of scale back head fittings and provision for compressed air supply. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with cab controlled draincocks, wedged and bolted big ends, inside Stephenson's link reverse with weighted way shaft and pierced eccentrics, dummy brake and sanding gear and injectors, working coil and leaf springs, wooden cab floor, waisted leading and trailing axles, oil boxes and lubricators, riveting, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamps. Tender details include working leaf springs, hand operated brake gear, waisted axles, dummy waterpipes and cocks, tank vents and filler cap, fletched buffer beam, draw bar buffers, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamp, the whole finished in correct GNR livery and lining -- 14 x 53in. (35.5 x 134.5cm.). Firing irons, showtrack and brass bound glazed case.
