signed LA FILOTECNICA Ing. A. Salmoiraghi MILANO NO. 58234, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing, lens cap, spider's web adjusters, located on a limb by two clamps with spring catches over the graduated bubble level, the horizontal circle with single magnifier, shade and vernier, tangent-screw fine adjustment, with clamp, on three-screw tripod attachment, contained in the original mahogany carrying case with iron corner guards -- 16in. (40.7cm.) wide; and an oxidised-brass surveying level signed Adie London PATENT, with rack and pinion focusing, lens hood with dust slide, spider's-web adjusters, located in twin clamps over the limb incorporating a bubble level, on four-screw tripod attachment, with maker's trade label, in original mahogany case -- 14¾in. (37.5cm.) wide
