The molded arching cornice surmounted by fretwork and inlaid plinths with ball-and-spire brass finials over a glazed cupboard door enclosing a white-painted dial with Roman chapter ring, calendar day aperture and sweep seconds hand inscribed "Simo Willard" and painted with floral spandrels beneath a ship at sea flanked by brasss top-fluted colonettes above a waisted case with arched line-inlaid door over a box base decorated with quarter fan inlay, on ogee bracket feet (works supports restored, wear to dial)--88 1/2in. high, 20 1/2in. wide, 10in. deep
