Trained as a jeweler in his father's atelier, Wolfers (1858-1929) created his final piece of jewelry in 1904, and turned his attention to sculpting in various semi-precious stones, bronze and marble. He exhibited in Brusells, Paris and London and was a member of the Legion of Honor.
