A CHELSEA GOLD-MOUNTED DOUBLE-SCENT-BOTTLE MODELLED AS A PARROT AND A ROOSTER, their heads forming the stoppers, their plumage painted in bright colours and with a small tree-stump behind, the domed base painted with scattered flowers and with a gilt dentil rim, the underside with a loose bouquet (restoration round both necks, parrot with restoration to breast and top of right wing and head a restored replacement, rooster's beak restored, slight rubbing to gilt rim, gold mounts later), circa 1756
