Regiment at Bristol, aged 22, 1842; seved during the Crimean War and was one of 22 men from his Regiment present at Balaklava, 25th. October, 1854; transferred to the Royal Canadian Rifles, 1858; discharged at Kingston, Canada after 23 years service, 1867.
