Corporal Arthur Thomas Reynolds was killed in action at Gallipoli on 22.7.1915, while serving with the 9th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Having landed at 'V' Beach, Cape Helles on 14 July, the Battalion moved up to the front line at "Fusilier Bluff", in order to relieve the 7th Battalion, North Staffordshire Regiment. A few days later, on the 22nd, Corporal Reynolds probably fell victim to a sniper. Two Officers were killed on the same date (See Westlake's British Regiments at Gallipoli).
