INDENT7703Private Samuel Browes, born Lakenham, Norfolk, died in captivity 15 August, 1916 probably on the march from Kut during which the Turks subjected the prisoners to the greatest cruelty and privation. He is now buried in North Gate War Cemetery, Baghdad

7400 Private Ernest Bearman, born St. Augustine's, Norwich, was captured at the Fall of Kut 29 April, 1916. He died in Turkish hands 23 December, 1916 and is buried Haidar Pasha Cemetery, Constantinople

7656 Private Richard Woodrow, born Wells, Norfolk was taken prisoner at the fall of Kut and died of wounds 30 August, 1916
