A KASHAN LUSTRE POTTERY DISH with flat base, lobed cavetto and flat everted rim, the interior painted over the white glaze with a central cusped roundel of scrolling motifs and arabesques within a band of inverted naskh calligraphy, the cavetto with a lustre band of reserved scrolling motifs below a further naskh inverted inscription, the rim with a kufic inscription reserved against a scrolling floral lustre ground, the exterior with panels containing scrolling motifs, 13th century (repaired clean breaks, areas of irridescence)
