A PAIR OF PARIS CLARET-GROUND SLENDER OVIFORM VASES with gilt mask, anthemion and scroll handles, painted with a cow herd and his companion in wooded landscapes within gilt rectangular cartouches, the reverses and lower parts with stylised berried foliage beneath a richly gilt flared neck and terminating on a gilt circular spreading foot, on a square base (one lower part with rim chip and crack, gilt stems and bases rubbed, chips to bases), circa 1820
