Keil with classical figures, one dish with an extensive mountainous lanscape and figures standing beside a sarcophagus, a man kneeling reading script on the side, entitled Die arcadischen Hirten, the other with three maidens in an interior with columns, one seated on a table taking a string of pearls from a casket, entitled Venus vor Gericht within raised gilt wells, the border richly gilt with scrolls and reserved with pale-blue-ground oval medallions enclosing cherubs, within yellow borders (minor wear to gilding), signed, blue beehive marks, iron-red script, circa 1890
