A well engineered and presented model Sanderson single cylinder centre pillar beam engine, built by T.R. Little. Measurements overall -- 15 x 21in (38 x 53.3cm).
With brass bound wood lagged cylinder 1 inch bore x 2½ inch stroke, drain cocks and pipes, inlet and exhaust pipework with flanged and bolted joints and main stop valve, barrelled connecting rod, rod driven feed pump and pipes, gear driven governor, linkage and butterfly valve, spoked flywheel and multi-rope pulley. Finished in green, black, red and polished brightwork and mounted on simulated tiled floor with hand rails, wood plinth and base, perspex cover.
