A table terrestrial globe, diameter 12 inches (31cm), overall height 18 inches (46cm), made up of two sets of 12 gores, hand-coloured in outline, original varnish (varnish slightly discoloured, severely cracked with slight loss to the equator). Metal pinions, brass hour and meridian circle, engraved horizon circle, mounted on ebonised beechwood stand, with four baluster turned legs, cross-stretchers.
