EARLY/MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 2000-1800 B.C.
Of shallow form with trough spout and pierced lug opposite, with finely incised decoration comprising multiple zigzag beneath the rim and vertical lines of connecting lozenges, 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diam.; a Black-Topped Red Polished Ware hemispherical bowl, with single pierced lug and incised 'butterfly' motif; a Red-and-Black Polished Ware bowl, similar, with twin lugs, one pierced, both 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) diam.; a similar ware jug with cylindrical spout and square-sectioned handle, 5½ in. (14 cm.) high; an Incised Red Polished Ware jug with cutaway-beak spout and spherical body, with incised concentric circles and chequerboard motifs, 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) high; and four similar ware gourd juglets, 3 5/8 to 5 5/8 in. (9.2 to 14.3 cm.) high, all Early Bronze Age, 2500-1900 B.C., mainly with repair and some restoration (9)
