Two bronze models of monkeys
Meiji period
one crawling, holding a peach spray in its left hand, the head looking upwards turned to its right, the other seated leaning forward peering down at a large crab caught firmly under its front paws, both wearing waistcoats over well modelled fur -- 5½in. (14cm.) long max., wood stands (very minor wear).
