Meiji Period
with petal shaped rim, moulded in slight relief and painted and gilt with radiating fan shaped panels of coiled dragons, ho-o, Tokugawa mon, flowerheads, scrolling foliage and geometric bands -- 18½in. (47cm.) wide, blue bud mark, signed Koransha.
