Shaped oval, on four lion's paw feet with lion's mask terminals, with gadrooned and shell borders, with two foliage-wrapped handles, the body applied twice with a foliate and rocaille cartouche engraved with a coat of arms, the rising domed cover with foliage-capped twig handle, engraved twice with a crest, marked on base and cover

The arms are those of Jodrell impaling Lemon, for Francis Jodrell Esq., of Yeardsley and Henbury (d.1829) and his wife Maria, daughter of Sir William Lemon 1st Bt. of Carlew, co. Cornwall (d.1824), whom he married in 1807.
