A William IV mahogany and brass inlaid striking bracket clock, circa 1830
The case with arched pagoda top and applied with brass strips to the front angles, brass inlays to the front, with cornucopia and loop handles to the sides above silk-backed tracery sound frets, on ball feet, the white painted Roman convex dial signed JNO SHUTTLEWORTH and with blued steel moon hands, the movement with arched plates and twin gut fusees with anchor escapement, trip repeat, with holdfast to the back plate with signature Shuttleworth/COLCHESTER -- 19.1.2in. (49.5cm.) high
