Chancery 8° (155 x 101mm). Gothic type, two columns, initials in blue and red, rubricated, second work with headlines and foliation. (2nd work without last blank, a few marginal repairs, ink stain on two leaves with slight loss, light marginal dampstain in one quire.) 16th-century blind-stamped red-stained vellum over wooden boards, one fore-edge catch, blue edges, index tab (rebacked in 18th-century blindtooled calf, lacking clasp, a few small wormholes, rubbed at extremities). Provenance: 16th-century Latin inscription -- Hiro Du[ ]echperger Gu[ ]cgu[ ] (19th-century inscription) -- Matristia 109 (inscription on pastedown) -- H. Legel (booklabel).
