The brass dial plate with silver champlevé Roman chapter ring signed NICHOLAS BOVQVET within the foliate engraved centre inhabited with squirrels, the movement with pierced tulip pillars, chain fusee for the going train with verge escapement and foliate engraved resting barrel for the strike train with silver calibrated countwheel with delicate shaped steel index hand, the strike on a bell via a boar's head hammer, backplate signed ZOLLING LONDON, silvered mask around the movement engraved Jonas Holtz Insterburg, the case of typical form with glazed D-ended panels to the band and on stylised winged feet
