A VERY RARE BLUE AND WHITE VASE, YUHUCHUN PING
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

Well potted with a full globular body tapering to a waisted neck and an everted mouthrim, painted in bright blue tones around the lower body with lotus blossoms borne on a dense leafy foliate vine, below a narrow band of floret medallions and stylised shou characters between ruyi borders, the neck painted with a crosshatched band interspersed with wan symbols and upright leaves below further shou symbols, the base with a lingzhi within a double-circle
