THE BOX 19TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY MEISSEN, THE COVER POSSIBLY 18TH CENTURY
Formed as a lady's head, her lace-edged yellow cap with indianische Blumen enriched in gilding, wearing gilt earrings and a white ruff, the oval cover with a loose bouquet and a flower-spray, the cover interior painted in purple camaïeu with a vignette of a servant, a lady and a gentleman by a herm in a wooded landscape (very slight scratches to cover, slight wear to right gilt earring)
