Thomas Reynolds, Oxford. Circa 1760/70
The black painted frame with four brass finials to the angle posts with splayed feet, both wheel trains with six crossings, the going train with recoil anchor escapement, hand adjustment by turning the T-bar on the third wheel arbor, strike train with countwheel fixed to the greatwheel, main brass fly to the top of the strike train, secondary (later?) fly by the motionwork
