Shaped circular and with a gadrooned rim, on three claw-and-ball feet, engraved underneath with an inscription, marked on front and with 'M' below a coronet estate stamp

The inscription reads 'Presented to H.R.H. Princess Margaret on the occasion of her Marriage by Moorghen Cadrassen Appavou, Mareemootoo Carassen Appavou, Tillay Govinden Appavou May 6th, 1960.'

Given on the occasion of the marriage of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon to Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon on 6 May 1960 by Mr. Moorghen Cadvasser Appavou, Mr. Mareemootoo Cadvasser Appavou and Mr. Tillay Grvinder Appavou.
