A pair of Chinese famille rose saucer-dishes, Xianfeng marks and possibly of the period (1851-1861)
each with shallow rounded sides supported on a short tapering foot, enamelled with ladies and boys preparing food within a thatched veranda beside a field in a mountainous landscape, the field plowed by a farmer wearing a leaf coat driving an ox, with poetic inscriptions and seals, iron-red Xianfeng seal marks -- max. 4in. (10.1cm.) diam. (2)
