CIRCA 1730, BLUE CROSSED SWORD MARK
Of hexagonal section with a three-tiered faceted knopped stem, the lower knop with a gadrooned-moulded rim, painted with flower-sprays and sprigs, the base with pendant flower-sprays within iron-red double line borders, the footrim with a band of iron-red diaper ornament with blue flowerheads at the corners (small shallow chip to base, very slight wear to gilding and enamels)

With Reichert, Munich, from whom it was acquired in 1989.
