Einstein has much enjoyed his son's poems, which he has read attentively, but warns him to 'take care that the rhythm does not become a habit, and that you do not forget prose -- otherwise you will be in trouble in this most prosaic of all worlds [Schau aber nur, dass der Rhythmus nicht chronisch wird, dass Du die Prosa nicht verlernst, sonst geht Dirs schlecht in dieser prosaischsten aller Welten]'. After a congress on 15 July in Geneva, they will be able to go on holiday together, for preference in the mountains: 'Would you like to meet [Paul] Langevin and Madame Curie? I am coming for a brief stay together with them'.
