Lot Essay

Entering the army in the Semenovskii Regiment in 1797, Pisarev fought in the campaign in Germany in 1807 and the Great Fatherland War and abroad, being awarded various medals including the Order of St. George (4th class) in 1813. He was also a renowned author and member of historical and other societies.
