A SMALL PALE GREENISH-GREY JADE FIGURE OF A MYTHICAL BEAST
YUAN/MING DYNASTY, 13TH-15TH CENTURY
Well carved in a recumbent position with head slightly raised and teeth bared, with tiny eyes set in front of backswept brows and curved horns, the bifurcated tail with coiled ends, with a cylidrical hole in the back, traces of earth and cinnabar
