Arabic manuscript on paper, 172ff., each folio with 9ll. of black muhaqqaq, with gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, gold illuminated marginal medallions, sura headings in bold gold naskh outlined with black issuing illuminated palmettes, two fragments of the original opening illuminated bifolio remaining, incomplete at end and beginning, lacking binding, with a brown morocco flap, 21ff. a later replacement, staining, repairs
