Thickly potted and decorated on the exterior in soft tones of cobalt blue with a continuous scene depicting a group of female musicians and entertainers, playing the lute, drums, flute, and the qin and dancing in front of an official and his attendants, one holding a fan, the other two bearing gifts, all in a terraced garden with plantain, pine and rockwork, the countersunk base with apocryphal Chenghua mark
