KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The domed body with sloping shoulder decorated with a scene of scholarly monks seated on woven mats amidst stacks of books in a landscape setting below a narrow crosshatched border on the shoulder, the tall cylindrical neck with a flowering rose branch on one side and morning glory vine on the reverse below the cup-shaped mouth encircled by a ruyi-head band
