G.W.R. 57XX Class Pannier Tank No 5783, 5in. gauge, built to exhibition standard by R.M. Tyler with brazed superheated copper boiler by R.R. Chambers stamped RC 798 with fittings including water gauge with glass protector and shut-off cocks, pressure gauge, safety, blower, twin injector, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin inside cylinders with Stephenson's link reverse, footplate controlled valve chest draincock, lubricator mounted in the near side tool box, crosshead driven feed pump and by-pass, two injectors, whistle and steam and hand operated brake gear and hand feed pump. Other details include sanding boxes and pipes, tank lifting rings, tool box, shunter's pole rack, fine rivet detail, steps, hand and lamp irons, finished in GWR green livery -- 14 x 33in.
